NU GSPP Associate Professor Serik Orazgaliyev received an appreciation letter from President Tokayev on the Science Day

The nomination was made by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the award was presented by Vice-Minister Darkhan Ahmed-Zaki.

Dr. Serik Orazgaliyev, Associate Professor at the Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Public Policy (NU GSPP) and Co-Chair of SDSN Kazakhstan, has been honored with an appreciation letter from President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during an event dedicated to the Science Day in Kazakhstan.

Dr. Orazgaliyev’s contributions to research and academia, particularly in the field of sustainable development, were acknowledged through this esteemed recognition.

Reflecting on this honor, Dr. Orazgaliyev commented, “I accept this as an appreciation of the work that we do here at the SDSN research center. Therefore, I would like to thank our entire SDSN team including faculty, researchers, administrative staff, and students. I am also hoping that our current project called SDG Barometer will contribute towards fostering a more inclusive, informed approach to achieving sustainable development, ensuring that the voices of the people are heard and integrated into the national policy agenda.”
