GSPP organized joint practical webinar with NU CAC, NU PCC and EY on June 30, 2020. Webinar covered such topics as labor market overview, stress management, adjustment to the uncertain environment and EY mock interview.

Azhar Umbetova, GSPP manager, presented webinar participants the labor market overview and recent trends. Olga Yakovenko, Psychological Counseling Center (PCC) senior psychologist, presented practical instruments on stress management. Yerden Nurtayev, Psychological Counseling Center (PCC) senior psychologist presented techniques on adjustment to the uncertain environment. EY representatives Nazima Zhanuzakova and Aliya Balykbayeva conducted mock interview simulation. Despite the environment and challenges people face today not only in the labor market, but personal life, stress management and adjusting techniques help people to maintain mental health which is crucial for achieving harmony in success both in career and life. Mock interview and external opinion from EY representatives was helpful to take a look at the real job interview and get fresh updates from employer. 

Webinar participants included recent graduates, students and alumni. After presentations participants had a chance to ask questions and share their experience. Further events like this are planned and we aim to help our graduates, alumni and students to get through this challenge together.
