Professor Colin Knox, Visiting Professor Karl O’Connor and Professor Saltanat Janenova held a seminar on “Open Government: International Practice and Experience of the West Kazakhstan Region” in Uralsk.

This initiative was supported the Akimat of the West Kazakhstan Region. The aim of the seminar was to raise awareness among government officials and representatives of civil society (including experts from non-governmental organizations, universities, business and media) on the world trends in the field of the Open Government, and to discuss positive practices in the region.

GSPP representatives held several meetings with civil servants and representatives of civil society, and Assel Mussabayeva GSPP Admission Manager delivered presentation about GSPP programs during visit to Uralsk on 27 – 28 November 2017.
