THE 8th NU GSPP INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
COLLABORATIVE GOVERNANCE IN TRANSITIONAL STATES
The Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Public Policy (hereinafter – NU GSPP) will host its 8th annual conference on the theme Collaborative Governance in Transitional States and invites all interested parties to participate. The conference will take place in hybrid format (in person and online) at Nazarbayev University, Astana, Kazakhstan on October 4, 2024.
The conference will be a full one-day event with several panel sessions and invited notable speakers in the field of governance and public administration.
The Conference will cover the following areas:
- Citizens’ Participation in Good Governance;
- State and Civil Society Interactions;
- Policy Initiatives in Transitional Countries;
- Open Budget Effects on Corruption;
- Development of Local Self-Government;
- Sustainability and Extractive Industry;
- Digital Governance.
This conference is designed to provide scholars and practitioners with quality educational and networking opportunities focused on good governance and economic diversification not only in the Central Asian context, but also globally. While the dynamic nature of governance will encourage new discussions for years and decades to come, the conference aims to inform and shape such debate.
