NU GSPP Hosted Conference on Collaborative Governance in Transitional States
14.10.2024The Graduate School of Public Policy at NU (NU GSPP) successfully convened its 8th International Conference on the theme “Collaborative Governance in Transitional States” on October 4, 2024. This highly anticipated event brought together experts, academics, and practitioners from around the world to discuss key governance challenges and policy solutions in transitional states.
The full-day conference featured an impressive program, with 30 presentations and six panels. Speakers hailed from a variety of countries, including China, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, South Korea, and the United Kingdom. Hundreds of participants attended the event, both in-person and online, making it one of the most vibrant academic events of the year.
The conference explored a wide range of pressing issues, with panels and presentations covering topics such as modernization, sustainable development, public sector reforms, digital governance, accountability, and the energy and extractive industries. This diverse array of subjects, coupled with a variety of methodological approaches, created a dynamic and intellectually rich environment for discussions on public policy and governance.
