On May 14–15, Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Public Policy (NUGSPP), together with the School of Medicine (NUSOM), jointly hosted a two-day masterclass at Nazarbayev University, bringing together researchers, academic staff, students, and health policy professionals.
The programme focused on academic publishing, systematic reviews, evidence synthesis, and translating research into policy and practice. Participants gained practical insights into publishing strategies and approaches for enhancing the real-world impact of research.
The sessions were delivered by internationally recognised experts Professor Judith Green (University of Exeter) and Professor Helen Roberts (UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health), who shared their extensive expertise in global health research and policy engagement.
