We are proud to announce that our NU GSPP graduate student, Kanat Islambekov, participated in the European Population Conference 2026, held in Bologna, Italy, from June 3–6. EPC is the premier biennial conference in Europe for researchers and professionals working in population and demographic studies.
We are particularly pleased to share that Kanat received the Best Poster Prize for his research presentation—an impressive recognition among an international community of scholars.
