On April 4th, Nazarbayev University’s Graduate School of Public Policy proudly hosted the Policy Analysis Exercise (PAE) Conference 2025.
A total of 36 second-year Master in Public Policy students presented their capstone projects, marking the culmination of two years of academic growth, research, and dedication.
This year, the students tackled a wide range of critical issues such as cybersecurity awareness in Kazakhstan, women’s access to work in the civil service, faculty and staff energy use at NU, open government as a strategy to enhance citizen participation, and public trust in NGOs. Other teams explored anti-corruption training effectiveness, consumer price recall behavior, and the employment challenges and wellbeing of people with disabilities, among other timely topics.
The conference showcased not only the analytical rigor of our students but also their passion for contributing to meaningful change through public policy. Their work reflects a deep commitment to solving complex societal challenges and building a better future for Kazakhstan and beyond.
Join us in celebrating their incredible efforts and impact!
