Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Public Policy offers fully-funded scholarships for international candidates applying for the Master in Public Policy (MPP), Master in Public Administration (MPA) and Ph.D. in Public Policy degree programs.

Duolingo English Test (DET) is accepted as an alternative to TOEFL and IELTS certificates in response to the temporary closings of testing centers due to the COVID 19 Coronavirus Infection Pandemic. DET results should be submitted till June 10, 2020.

The Graduate School of Public Policy’s (GSPP) mission is to improve the quality of life of people in Kazakhstan and Central Asia by training leaders to improve governance through excellence in teaching, research and executive development that focuses on key policy and leadership challenges.

Our students who come from the public sector, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector, have the opportunity to spend 2-3 weeks under the Singapore component of our Master programs and up to 3 months in the PhD program.

GSPP’s faculty are actively engaged in research in civil service reforms, modernization of the public service, natural resources management, policy analysis, advocacy and consultancy to government institutions and international organizations on a wide range of public policy/administration issues in Kazakhstan and beyond.
