Arzana Myderrizi
Instructor
Master of Arts in Economics, Vanderbilt University (USA)

Arzana Myderrizi received her MA in Economics at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Upon obtaining her master’s degree, she has spent two years working for a consultancy firm in Kosovo, where most of her work was focused on evaluating donor funded aid programs and conducting research studies that aimed to contribute to informed policy-making in Kosovo. She has lead the evaluation of numerous projects funded by large international donors in Kosovo, such as the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the United Nations Development Fund (UNDP). Additionally, she was a Teaching Assistant for a professional course in Public Policy Development and Leadership at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in Kosovo. This course provides specialized training for local and central level public servants in public policy analysis, evidence-based decision making, leadership, and program evaluation.
Prior to that, Ms. Myderrizi worked for the RIT Center for Energy and Natural Resources (CENR), where she was involved in two large research projects: a Household Energy Consumption Survey funded by the World Bank (WB) and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund (RBF), and a Wood Consumption Survey funded by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (UNFAO). Both of these projects examined the sustainable use of energy resources at a country level.
