Dr. Saltanat Janenova and Prof. Colin Knox won the Best Paper Award at the Annual Conference of the Asian Association of Public Administration held in Astana on 13-14 April 2017. The topic of their paper is “Civil Service Reform in Kazakhstan: trajectory to the thirty most developed countries?”
GSPP gathered Ethics Commissioners from the central ministries and regions of Kazakhstan for the “Promoting Ethics and Integrity in the Civil Service: International Practice and Kazakhstani Experience” Executive Education program lead by Dr. Saltanat Janenova and Dr. Riccardo Pelizzo.
Dr. Riccardo Pelizzo gave a speech last Saturday at the “Political trends of modern Kazakhstan” videoconference. Along with political analysts and international experts, Vice Dean of GSPP shared his analysis and evaluation of current tendencies in governance of the country.
Graduate School of Public Policy arranged and hosted a two-day Executive Education program for the “Samruk-Kazyna” Sovereign welfare fund and the biggest national companies of the country – Kazpost, Kazakhtelecom, Kazatomprom, KEGOC and others.
The MPA Project Presentations of GSPP (first MPA cohort) took place on 25 November, 2016. This is the last step towards graduation. There were six presentations on different thought-provoking topics.
